What Are the DiGi YOUTH Papers?

The DiGi YOUTH Papers are a series of graphically designed A4 brochures and e-brochures, each focused on a specific aspect of digital youth work. These documents serve as valuable guides and frameworks for youth workers, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to navigate the digital age effectively.

1. Policy Recommendations

This visually engaging brochure provides concise recommendations to elevate the digitalization of youth work. It serves as a quick reference for youth organizations, drawing attention to best practices and innovative approaches in the field. Policy recommendations are focused on five fields that have been reckoned as the most important for the development of youth work. Policy Recommendation refers to a set of principles, guidelines, or rules that are established by an organization, government, or institution to guide decisions Recommendations pertaining to the digitization of youth work are concentrated on five key areas that have been identified as crucial for the advancement of youth service.

2. Framework Curriculum

A detailed guide designed as a single-fold brochure, this framework outlines topics, suggested formats, methods, tools, and the competencies youth workers will gain through training. Framework curriculum of training for youth workers is a document which aims to improve capacity of youth workers and organizations to develop and realize high-quality digital youth work activities; new connections between partner organizations and target groups. Contains a list and description of topics (subjects), suggested formats, methods, tools, and foreseen competencies that youth workers would get after completing the training. Youth work providers can customize their own curriculum on the basis of the needs of their context.

3. Mentorship Programme for the development of the Youth Workers Digital Competences

This Mentorship Programme offers a blueprint for a long-term mentorship program aimed at advancing the competencies of youth workers in digital fields. The Mentorship Programme develops the digital competences of youth workers, provides a structured and supportive learning environment for youth workers, enhances the ability of youth workers to use digital tools and technologies effectively in their work with young people.

4. Methodology for Digital Youth Events

Dedicated to the design and execution of short-term digital events for young people, this e-brochure provides actionable insights on formats, methods, tools, and essential DOs and DON’Ts to ensure successful implementation of digital youth events.

Background document exists to supplement the existing curriculum framework by offering comprehensive information. It serves as a resource that individuals can utilize to select the most pertinent and engaging information for themselves and their intended audience. This allows for the development of customized learning programs that cater to the unique requirements of both the individual and their participants.
